Role Overview:

The ideal candidate should have experience with new furnace installation including HRV systems, unit heaters & tube heaters, A/C, fan venting in new residential homes from starter homes to the larger custom-built residences. We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyperson who can independently carry out the following tasks in residential new home construction.

Responsibilities: 

• New installs from rough in to finishing (A/C, furnace, HRVs, humidifiers etc)
• Furnace change out and retro-fits
• Finishing (Registers & Grilles)
• A/C rough in’s & installs
• HRV complete installs
• Garage unit heater & tube heater installs
• Fans & ventilation
• Reading & following blueprints
• Service & troubleshooting
• Basic A/C maintenance and repair

Qualifications:

• Sheet Metal Journeyperson certificate
• Residential HVAC installation experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in the HVAC industry
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and positive driver’s abstract
• Ability to problem solve and diagnose
• Excellent communication skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to learn quickly and work diligently
